Laudachsee - a pearl of the mountain lakes

Freitag, 21. August 2015

Yesterday morning my dear friend Andrea has called and asked ... Family Rudow what are you up to today ? ... family Rudow said ... Well nothing really ... Andrea said .... Let's go to Laudachsee ... and we said Jaaaaa. It was the best we could have done today . The weather was perfect - not too hot and not too cold. The signs indicate from Franzl in the wood it would be an 1 hour and 15 minutes walk- but I think with the kids in tow, we doubled that. But we all  fully enjoyed the walk. Because there is so much to discover. Toll was the super fresh mountain air ... you know I think guys from the city don't relate to that. Tip: Come to the Salzkammergut! Even with the stroller to get super up - one more tip: you can't use a buggy - gravel road and partly many stones. There are always great views of the Traunstein - the kids are more interested in flowers, stones, sticks, butterflies, moss and clover - but all the wonderful things  are to discover along the way. And the journey is the reward. Fresh and delicious mountain water is there at 7 Prince-Brünnlein very refreshing and a great place to rest and take a snack. At the end of the walk you can see through the trees shimmering the Katzenstein and then you get a fantastic view of the Laudachsee - at 900 meters above sea level. We first had to refresh all and went swimming with the ducks. The descent was easy: Luis has fallen asleep in the Tragerl (backpack) ... and  our Mimmi mouse is finally fast asleep although circling me for a long time while writing this. Even Mami is tired - I can feel my muscles in the back and legs because Mia and Luis were alternately carried in the Tragerl. But it was a beautiful day and I am proud of Mia for she marched so bravely at the age of 3. What a beautiful day.
